Your Role

As a Head of Performance Marketing, you will Lead the development and execution of strategic PPC campaigns on Amazon to enhance product sales and visibility. Provide leadership to the PPC Marketing Team by setting clear goals and fostering teamwork. Conduct thorough keyword research and analysis to optimize campaign performance while monitoring key metrics for continuous improvement. Collaborate with stakeholders to align PPC strategies with business objectives and mentor junior team members.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the development and implementation of strategic PPC advertising campaigns on Amazon focusing on increasing product sales, visibility, and profitability.
  • Providing leadership to the PPC Marketing Team, setting clear goals, empowering team members and fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration and excellence
  • Conducting in depth keyword research, competitive analysis, and audience targeting to optimize campaign performance and maximize ROI on Amazon.
  • Creating compelling ad copy and manage bidding strategies to ensure maximum visibility and effectiveness of PPC campaigns on Amazon.
  • Monitoring and analysing key performance metrics, including ACoS (Advertising Cost of Sales), conversion rates, click-through rates, and ROAS, to identify areas for optimisation and improvement.
  • Utilising A/B testing and other optimisation techniques to continuously improve campaign performance, and ad creatives on Amazon.
  • Collaborating closely with the Amazon sales team, product management, and other stakeholders to align PPC initiatives with overall business goals and objectives.
  • Staying informed about industry trends, best practices, and changes in Amazon's advertising policies and algorithms to adapt strategies accordingly and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Providing regular reporting and insights on campaign performance, key metrics, and actionable recommendations to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Managing relationships with external agencies, vendors, and partners to support Amazon PPC initiatives and ensure alignment with business objectives and performance targets.
  • Mentoring and coaching junior members of the PPC marketing team, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to foster growth and expertise in Amazon Advertising.

 

Your Profile 

To succeed in this role you:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Amazon Advertising Accreditation) is a plus.
  • Have 6+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a primary focus on PPC advertising, particularly on Amazon's advertising platform.
  • Have proven track record of developing and optimising successful PPC campaigns on Amazon, with demonstrated results in driving sales and maximising ROAS.
  • Have deep understanding of Amazon's advertising ecosystem, including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display ads, as well as Amazon's search algorithm and product ranking factors.
  • Have strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, analyse campaign performance metrics, and derive actionable insights to improve performance and ROI on Amazon.
  • Have experience with A/B testing, conversion rate optimisation (CRO), and other optimisation techniques specific to Amazon Advertising.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
  • Have proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Have solid understanding of digital marketing metrics and KPIs, with the ability to track, measure, and report on campaign performance using analytics tools such as Amazon Advertising Console and other relevant platforms.
  • Have strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor, coach, and develop team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
